Selecting and putting the correct faucet adapter for these units is almost always painful - and this unit was no exception. That said, once installed the unit works great! We have fairly high water pressure here and the unit work flawlessly .. no leaks or unpleasant surprises of any kind regarding the operation. As I recall the refill filters are about $50 each - and each filter can last up to a year.

We have had a tap water problem for a while, with a yellow color and a bad taste. After searching reviews for a while, I bought this Multi-Pure countertop unit. We have been using it for over a month now. The water that comes out of it is perfect! Absolutely crystal clear, and tastes better than bottled water. The water comes out fast enough to fill a pot in less than a minute. Overall I'm very pleased.
The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is the price, which is high even compared to a year's supply of the 2.5 gallon bottled waters from the grocery store. But if clean, clear, convenient water is important to you, then it's worth it. -- A little pricey, but works great.
