User Reviews

I have had my water filtration system for roughly a month now and must say that I am pleased with the aesthetic, the filtration of my water, and the compactness of the unit as a whole. It fits nicely in the corner on my counter top. There are many good things about this unit. Most notably are the following:

PROS:

Compact, efficient, long lasting filters, taste of the filtered water is wonderful, frees up space in my refrigerator now that I don't have a huge Brita in there, and it is very easy to use.

Now there are also a few cons in this equation:

CONS:

1. Water delivery is tremendously slow. (It's gravity fed so unless you can increase gravity, the water will come out very slow).
2. The refill process is a bit slow but, the tank is 1.5 gallons so when you refill the top you will still have a large portion of water available.
3. Once you fill a cup the water cooling aspect kicks in and takes about 10 minutes to cool the water again.

Those are my only concerns. If Cuisinart would allow the water to be dispensed that much faster this review would be a stellar 5 star review.
-- Solid Investment
This product does not work. The filter will not stay in place. Cuisinart will find a way to void the warranty. We bought ours for small office use, therefore they will not replace. Don't waste your money! -- Horrible and Cuisinart will not replace
This sounds like what I want as I have Sparletts and cannot lift the containers myself but have to bother other people to do it. Question is how do you put the water in? Do you remove the whole water container and fill it from the faucet or is their an opening to fill it. -- Would like more info before buying
Ordered this filter because other Cuisinart products have given long serivce.
Forgot to check what it is that is going to get filtered out. Had been looking for a filter for bacteria but this will only remove heavy metals--not likely to be a big problem for many people on municipal systems. My mistake, and could live with that and would use the filter except for the fact that it makes the water taste like metal--odd, since it is supposed to remove that sort of thing.
Really unhappy, waste of too much money. -- Not great.
It works and looks nice. Only 2 complaints are that it dispenses slowly and the fan is a bit loud when it is actively chilling. -- Good but not great
