The filter received simply did not work. Tried soaking it six ways from Sunday--even held it submerged by hand for half an hour (as it did not want to sink at all--and it still failed to fill more than a quarter of the reservoir. Was forced to send it back for a replacement.
Kudos to Amazon for making this a nearly painless process, though. -- Lousy Filter
Great buy on these filters... and they are very hard to find. Usually I have to replace these every 3 months or so, but I use my water filter every single day. I refill about 2 or 3 times a day, so I think 3 months is a reasonable time for a filter to last. -- Much cheaper on Amazon
the cuisinart clean water counter top is basically very similar to pitcher filters, but plugs in offering cold water or room temp. They also make a unit that offers hot water. -- replacement filter cuisinart cleanwater
I love this filter. It can be used for a long time, and yet you don't feel any funny taste of water. It's also very easy to install, for the price I think it's a great value! -- clean water!
